My Server Guy ApS ("we") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We're registered in Denmark (TAX ID: DK44710641). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

When you submit a contact form or booking request, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you provide in your message. We use this data to respond to your enquiry, prepare proposals, and follow up on services you've asked about. We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

We store enquiry data in our own database on infrastructure we control. We retain contact form submissions for up to 24 months after the last interaction. If you become a client, your data is retained for the duration of the service relationship plus any period required by Danish accounting law.

We use Plausible Analytics for website statistics. Plausible doesn't use cookies, doesn't collect personal data, and doesn't track individual visitors. All analytics data is aggregated and anonymous. No data is sent to Google or any advertising network.

Email notifications for enquiries are sent via Amazon SES. Your name and email address pass through this service to deliver the notification to our team. Amazon SES acts as a data processor under our instructions.

Under GDPR, you have the right to access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict processing, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address on our contact page. We respond within 30 days.

We use two cookies: a session cookie (required for form submissions and CSRF protection, expires when you close the browser) and a theme preference cookie (stores your light/dark mode choice for one year). Neither contains personal data.
